20.08.2009 - Review of TWISTED - Goyaale

Twisted are a hard-rock band with a wall-of-noise approach to guitars and a vocal that's got gruff melodic appeal.


'Goyaale' is a heavy-hitter with super-substantial bass and a powerful riff. There's a distinctive switch from alternative verse to anthemic chorus that gives Twisted that added appeal, in a similar way to The Guano Apes, who throbbed and smashed - but still found that killer chorus.


Venues in their home town, Bristol, must be frantically re-reinforcing their stages for this heavyweight band.
